Dil Raju's Balagam bags major international awards

HYDERABAD: Balagam is the biggest hit of 2023 in terms of financial returns. This film was made on a shoestring budget and went on to collect more than 12 crores at the box office. Especially, the people of Telangana owned this movie with open arms.

After having a great theatrical run, Balagam is now making noise at various Film Festivals and Award ceremonies.

Last week, it was awarded the Best Feature Film and Best Cinematography awards at the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards.

Later, it was presented with the Best Drama Feature Film at the Onkyo Film Awards in Ukraine. Now, the film made noise at the Washington DC International Cinema Festival. It won Best Actor (Priyadarshi), Best Actress (Kavya Kalyanram), Best Director (Venu Yeldandi) and Best Narrative Feature awards at the Festival. The team shared the news on social media this morning.

On the whole, after proving to be a winner at home, Balagam is showing its prowess on the global front as well.
