HYDERABAD: RRR's Naatu Naatu is contesting at the upcoming 95th Academy Awards in the Best Original Song category. This is the first Telugu film and Telugu song to be nominated at the Oscars. Apart from its composition and lyrics, RRR has become successful also for its choreography, performances and picturisation.

Currently, the core cast and crew of RRR are in the USA prepping for the gala Oscars ceremony. As a part of the film's campaign, one of the film's lead heroes, Ram Charan, participated in a podcast hosted by Sam Fragoso.

Speaking about Naatu Naatu in the show, Charan said that the song is not just an entertainer and that every sequence in it is very thoughtful. He asserted that the song reached the Oscars because of the drama and emotions that run through it. He stated that the camaraderie, the brotherhood on display and the yin and yang that the two leading men represent made the song so special.

Charan said that each take in Naatu Naatu was so challenging and achieving perfect synchronisation was the toughest part of all. He also said that Keeravani's amazing beats made it a great number. Meanwhile, The Oscars event will be held on March 12. It will be telecasted live in India on March 13th at 05.30 am.
