HYDERABAD: After the failure of Liger, all eyes are on Vijay Deverakonda and his future projects. Recently, the actor revealed that he is once again joining forces with the director of his hit film, Geetha Govindam, Parasuram Petla. This new venture is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas.
On February 5th, the official launch of the film took place, and the production house announced the exciting collaboration on Twitter, stating, "We are thrilled to announce that we are working with the blockbuster team of Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram Petla for our upcoming film. Stay tuned for more updates." Vijay Deverakonda also took to Twitter, expressing his excitement by saying, "We are getting back together."
This yet-to-be-titled film marks their second collaboration, following their successful 2018 film, Geetha Govindam. The romantic comedy starred Rashmika Mandanna alongside Vijay. The filmmakers have made it clear that this is not a sequel to Geetha Govindam but a completely new story.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda is also working on yet another interesting film titled Kushi, in the direction of Shiva Nirvana. Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the female lead role in the film.
