HYDERABAD: Keerthy Suresh made an impressive debut in Telugu with Nenu Sailaja. But it was the 2018 release Mahanati which brought her huge stardom. Keerthy literally lived in the character of Savitri and played a major role in the film's success.
After Mahanati, Keerthy was flooded with star-hero films and lady-oriented projects. In the last five years, she came up with multiple projects but failed to score a big hit. After Mahanati, Keerthy didn't get huge success in Telugu.
Now, she is prepping up for the release of her upcoming film Dasara. Directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, this film features Nani as the lead hero. It is slated for a pan-India release on March 30.
According to the sources, Keerthy got a meaty role in this movie. Dasara is set in rural Telangana and the story takes place in the 1980s backdrop. Keerthy played a village belle in it. Reportedly, she got an author-backed role and she delivered a stunning performance as well.
After hearing this news, people are highly excited about her character in the movie. Let's see if Dasara can revive Keerthy's career in Tollywood.
