IT Raids on Mythri Movie Makers & Sukumar in Hyderabad

Tollywood woke up today to the greetings of IT officials at many places. Income tax authorities have raided director-producer Sukumar and production house Mythri Movie Makers. The raids, which began this morning, were carried out by separate teams at the offices and residences of Sukumar, as well as producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Yalamanchili. We hear that the officials have come from Delhi, and they raided some other offices as well.

Sukumar, a popular director known for his production banner Sukumar Writings, has collaborated with various production houses in the past. His next production under Sukumar Writings is the film "Virupaksha," starring Sai Dharam Tej, scheduled for theatrical release on April 21st.

Given this context, the raids on Sukumar's residence and the producers' houses have garnered attention. Both have earlier collaborated for another project and Pushpa is the biggest hit in their collaboration.

As of now, the income tax officials have not revealed any details about the outcome of the search operations. Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers are jointly bankrolling the highly anticipated film "Pushpa 2" starring Allu Arjun, which is expected to have a substantial budget.

With multiple hit films, Mythri Movie Makers is enjoying a golden phase in Tollywood right now.
