HYDERABAD: The Telugu film industry has a distinct trend where actors often portray younger roles, even in their 60s, and they constantly experiment with their looks for each film. However, the audience's response to these looks can vary greatly, and actors may face trolling if their appearance doesn't suit their age. In recent times, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna have received different responses for their respective works.

Balakrishna has received terrific feedback for his looks in films like Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and the upcoming Bhagwant Kesari. With a salt-and-pepper beard and hair, Balakrishna has managed to maintain a stylish appearance suited to his age. His trendy looks in Unstoppable also garnered a positive response. The filmmakers have refrained from excessive body slimming techniques to present him in a more natural and age-appropriate manner.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi has followed a contrasting trend with his looks after his comeback to films. He has sported different looks in each film, but his hairstyling has often received criticism for appearing awkward, whether it is in Acharya, Waltair Veerayya, or the upcoming Bholaa Shankar.

Additionally, excessive body slimming techniques have been used to make Chiranjeevi appear slimmer on screen, disappointing some of his fans. One of the posters of Bholaa Shankar drew heavy criticism due to his slim appearance and the awkwardness of his wig. Similarly, a recently released song, glimpse featuring Chiranjeevi with heavy makeup, also generated a lot of trolling.

Considering the feedback from fans and the audience, it is suggested that Chiranjeevi takes his appearance more seriously and works towards satisfying his fans with better looks and getups.

Fans have also pointed out Nandamuri Balakrishna's new styling sense as an example for Chiranjeevi to consider. It remains to be seen whether Chiranjeevi takes these suggestions into account and improves his on-screen appearance in future projects.
