HYDERABAD: It is already known that RRR's Naatu Naatu has been nominated for the Best Original Song category in the upcoming Academy Awards. Generally, all the Best Original Song nominees will be performed live during the Oscars ceremony. The tradition will continue this year as well.
What makes it special is the live performance of Naatu Naatu. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, who sang the original Telugu version of the song, will perform it live during the Academy Awards. The official social media handles of the Academy Awards announced the news by writing, "Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. “Naatu Naatu." LIVE at the 95th Oscars."
This is indeed a lifetime moment for both singers. People in India can catch this performance live during the early hours of March 13 (Monday). Meanwhile, the whole cast and crew of RRR will attend the Oscars event. The entire country is rooting for the film to win the Best Original Song award.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris played other key roles in it.
