Rebel Star Prabhas' much-anticipated action drama, 'Salaar,' is set to hit theaters in multiple languages on December 22nd. The pan-Indian film, directed by Kannada filmmaker Prasanth Neel, has generated significant buzz, particularly in Sandalwood.

Notably, around the same time, Kannada superstar Darshan's 'Kaatera' is slated for release on December 29th. When asked about the potential competition with 'Salaar' during a press meet, Darshan responded assertively.

Darshan stated, "I don't care about Salaar or any other films. They should be afraid of us. My film is a pure Kannada film and not one of those pan-India films coming out these days. My Kannada audience will shower their love on my film."

Tharun Kishore Sudhir is the director of 'Kaatera.' Set in the 70s, the movie revolves around a real-life incident involving farmers. Aradhanaa, the daughter of veteran actress Malashree, is making her debut with this Kannada film. Despite discussions about the potential dominance of 'Salaar' in theaters, Darshan remains steadfast in his conviction.

'Salaar' boasts an impressive star cast, including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Shriya Reddy, Shruti Hassan, and others. Produced by Hombale Films, the first part of this two-part saga is set to captivate audiences next weekend.
