Karthikeya 2's smashing record in the OTT space

HYDERABAD: Nikhil Siddhartha's Karthikeya 2 is one of the biggest hits of this year. It was made on a minimal budget but earned more than 100 crores at the box office. This mythological adventure film was a raging success in both Telugu and Hindi.

Karthikeya 2 is still running successfully in many theatres across the country. Recently, it premiered on ZEE5 and is getting a sensational response in the OTT arena as well. According to Zee5, Karthikeya 2 was streamed for more than 100 crore minutes on the platform within 48 hours of its premiere. This is a new record in the OTT space.

People who missed watching it in theatres are now watching the film on Zee5. Karthikeya 2 premiered on Zee5 on October 5, on the occasion of Dasara. We have to see how many more records it will break in the coming days.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Karthikeya 2 features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. Srinivas Reddy, Anupam Kher, Viva Harsha and Tulasi played the other key roles in it. Kaala Bhairava composed the music for this film.
