HYDERABAD:Director Atlee, who scored a blockbuster with Jawan, will do another Hindi film. The film is the remake of his Tamil hit Theri. Varun Dhawan is playing the lead role, and Keerthy Suresh will mark her debut in Bollywood with the film. To prepare for the project and her role and gel with Varun Dhawan, the actress has landed in Mumbai and began the preparation for the same.
Keerthy Suresh was spotted riding in an auto-rickshaw with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, causing quite a stir and sparking numerous rumors regarding her possible inclusion in the Theri remake.
Atlee is rumored to be crafting this film as a mass entertainer. There are also reports that the shoot is underway, but there is no official confirmation.
Incidentally, Theri remake is in the works in Telugu, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh, the film is being directed by Harish Shankar.
