Lokesh Kanagaraj to work with Superstar Rajinikanth?

HYDERABAD: Even in his seventies, Superstar Rajinikanth is keeping himself busy and is signing films on a trot. He is currently working on Jailer, which is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, he will soon team up with Kollywood sensation Lokesh Kanagaraj.
According to the sources, Lokesh recently narrated a script to Rajinikanth and the actor liked it immensely. Apparently, he gave a nod as well. It is heard that Kamal Haasan will bankroll the project. It may hit the floors once Lokesh's ongoing film Leo gets finished.
Lokesh shot to fame with his Lokiverse films Kaithi and Vikram. Even Leo belongs to this cinematic universe. Now, we have to see if Rajinikanth's movie also comes under this universe. If this is true, then Tamil Cinema will witness the biggest crossover. More details about this project are expected to be announced soon.
On the other side, Jailer may hit the screens in August this year. Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sunil, Jackie Shroff and Mohanlal play the other key roles in it. Anirudh is composing the music for this movie.
