HYDERABAD: Ever since it was announced that Naatu Naatu would be performed live on the Oscars stage, the entire Indian diaspora was eagerly waiting for the historic moment. Finally, it happened a few moments ago and we can say that it was a blockbuster performance.

Naatu Naatu's original version's singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the song live on the stage along with a few Hollywood dancers. The interesting thing was that the performance was introduced by Indian Superstar Deepika Padukone.

Though it was disappointing not to see Jr NTR and Ram Charan performing the song, audiences felt happy watching Telugu singers performing a Telugu song on a big platform like the Academy Awards. The people in the auditorium thoroughly enjoyed the performance and gave a standing ovation for the film.

After this thumping response, everyone is now hoping that Naatu Naatu will also bag an Oscar within in a few minutes. Let's hope for the same. Go Naatu Naatu.
