Naga Chaitanya's Custody Trailer: Action-Drama that presents 'Chay' in a never-before-seen role

HYDERABAD: The upcoming Telugu film "Custody" with Venkat Prabhu is all set to break the traditional mold of commercial movies where the protagonist fights the antagonist and ultimately kills them. The team revealed that the USP of their film is that the protagonist tries to protect the antagonist than finding ways to kill him. On that note, the makers launched the theatrical trailer of the film today.

The story has a unique and engaging storyline. The movie revolves around the story of Shiva, an honest and sincere constable who firmly abides by the law and stops at nothing to protect it. Shiva finds himself in a tough spot when he is assigned to protect a criminal from his opponents and also produce him before the court. Meanwhile, he falls in love with a girl who is engaged to someone chosen by their parents.

Director Venkat Prabhu has come up with a novel story that is presented in an engaging and compelling manner. The film stars Naga Chaitanya in a never before seen role as a sincere, innocent and honest police constable.

Krithi Shetty plays the leading lady, and she looks stunning. Arvind Swami portrays the antagonist and looks brutal. The trailer also features Priyamani, Sharath Kumar, Sampath Raj, and other characters.

The movie is being produced on a grand scale by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, and the visuals look lavish. The cinematography by SR Kathir is stunning, while Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score elevates every sequence.

The film is hitting the screens on May 12, 2023.
