Natural Star Nani is busy with the promotions of his next film titled "Hi Nanna." However, a recent pre-release event raised eyebrows when the film's unit, including Natural Star Nani, faced criticism for showcasing a picture of Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.
The unexpected twist occurred when the event projected Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's pictures, suggesting an official relationship between them. This move was widely viewed as a breach of privacy, and using a star hero's event to mock another hero was met with surprise and disapproval.
Addressing the controversy in a recent interview, Nani expressed his regret and apologized for this particular segment of the event. He clarified that he had no prior knowledge of it and suggested that someone from the event team might have acted impulsively in their enthusiasm.
"Vijay and Rashmika are close to me, and I am confident that they wouldn't have been bothered by this. However, if it has caused any distress, I sincerely apologize," Nani stated.
"Hi Nanna," slated for release on December 7th, features Mrunal Thakur as Nani's co-star. Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under Vyra Entertainments, the film marks the directorial debut of Shouryuv.
