Nani opens up about drinking alcohol for Dasara

HYDERABAD: Natural Star Nani is busy with the promotions of his new film Dasara. This rural action drama is slated for worldwide release on March 30. Directed by Srikanth Odela, this film features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.

Recently, a few media houses reported that Nani consumed alcohol in real to shoot some scenes in the movie. The actor was asked about the same in his recent interview.

He admitted that he indeed consumed alcohol to shoot some of the drinking scenes in the movie. Apparently, director Srikanth wanted Nani to drink alcohol in real to bring authenticity to his emotions. Thus, Nani agreed to do so.

The team felt that those scenes came out well, and the decision to drink alcohol worked in a good way for the film.

Dasara features Deekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, and Sai Kumar in the other main roles. Santosh Narayanan composed the music for it.
