HYDERABAD: The Telangana Legislative Assembly elections for 2023 were held on November 30th. Prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry, including Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, and many others, took time off their hectic schedules to exercise their right to vote.
However, the absence of Baahubali star Prabhas from the polling booth caught the attention of fans. Reports suggest that the actor, who underwent knee surgery earlier in the United States of America, was still in the recovery phase and, therefore, couldn't make it to cast his vote.
The fans and media were expecting the actor at the polling booth to cast his vote, but Prabhas did not turn up. Several media outlets reported Prabhas taking a break to focus on his surgery recovery, explaining his absence from the polling booth.
While celebrities like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR with his wife and mother, and Allu Arjun were among the early voters, Prabhas' absence due to his ongoing recovery was noticeable.
On the other hand, many Tollywood personalities who skipped voting last time have stepped forward to cast their votes this time. Still, the voting percentage of Hyderabad city is reportedly low.
