HYDERABAD: Prabhas gained worldwide fame for portraying the iconic characters Mahendra and Amarendra Baahubali in SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" franchise. Now, there are reports about a wax statue of Prabhas being installed in a museum in Mysore. However, "Baahubali" producer Shobu Yarlagadda has expressed concern, claiming that the statue was installed without permission.

Already, the netizens trolled this wax statue as the features of the statue are miles away from that of Prabhas. A fan page of Prabhas on social media recently shared a picture of the actor's wax statue at a museum in Mysore.

Shobu Yarlagadda, the "Baahubali" producer, expressed his displeasure, revealing that the installation was not officially licensed and was done without permission or knowledge. He stated that immediate steps would be taken to have the statue removed.

"Baahubali" is a two-part period drama directed by SS Rajamouli, with a fictional story written by his father, renowned screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad. The film featured an ensemble cast in pivotal roles, including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, and Sathyaraj. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the two films earned nearly Rs 2,500 crore worldwide.
