After writing a heartfelt letter to the public through media, Puri Jagannadh has deactivated his Instagram & Twitter accounts. Looks like the director is fed with the recent light of events regarding the compensation for losses incurred by his latest flick 'Liger'.

Needless to say, most people are aware of the compensation trifle between Puri & buyers - distributors. His 'Liger' turned out to be a big distaste both critically & commercially. The audience even rejected to watch it on OTT. It is reported that the film has registered very huge losses and Puri was in talks to repay the business amount as compensation. But things had a drastic turn and it ended up in a verbal & legal feud between the involved parties. While the distributor planned a protest in front of Puri's office, Puri approached cops & registered complaints against the threateners.

It seems these events have hurt Puri, he went on to write an open letter to the audience and released it to the press stating that he's solely responsible to answer the audience and no one else.
