HYDERABAD: "Toby" is the upcoming Kannada film starring Raj B Shetty in the lead role. The film's trailer is out today, showcasing Raj B Shetty as a destructive force in the titular role. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the film's core, which revolves around Raj's characters, Chaithra Achar, Deepak Shetty, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, and Samyukta Hornad.
The trailer begins with eerie feels but switches to a feel-good family drama and then takes an unexpectedly dark turn due to certain circumstances, leaving a lasting impact.
Raj B Shetty penned the film with the central theme of everyone having a breaking point, a threshold of tolerance for suffering, injustice, and pain.
Basil AL Chalakkal, a longtime associate of Raj, directs the film. It features Midhun Mukundan as the music composer and Praveen Shriyan as the cinematographer, who has collaborated with Raj in previous projects.
"Toby" is set to be released in Karnataka on August 25, presented and distributed by KVN Productions. The film will have a Kannada release first, and depending on the reception, the makers will take a call on its release in other languages.
