HYDERABAD: RRR's Naatu Naatu has been nominated for the Best Original Song award at the upcoming Oscars. This song has become a chartbuster since it was released. The fame crossed all borders when RRR got a global success. Recently, Naatu Naatu also won the prestigious Golden Globe Award as well.

Apart from the composition and lyrics, Naatu Naatu is also known for its beautiful choreography and picturization. While Jr NTR and Ram Charan stunned everyone with their perfectly-synced dance steps, director Rajamouli made the song look more beautiful by shooting it in colourful locations.

Naatu Naatu was shot at Ukraine's Presidential Palace which is located in Kyiv. It was actually supposed to be filmed in India. But when the makers were planning to shoot the song, it was monsoon season running in India. Naatu Naatu has to be done in an open area. Shooting in open areas during monsoons is a risky process. So, Rajamouli started scouting different locations across the world.

He liked a location in Ukraine but later realized that it is the Presidential Palace. He thought he will not get permission to shoot inside the Palace premises. However, the Ukraine production team sorted out permissions and helped Rajamouli in filming Naatu Naatu at his desired location. The result is an amazing song with an amazing composition, dance moves and picturization.
