Regina and Anupama Parameswaran's film titled 'Mareechika'

Popular actresses Regina Cassandra and Anupama Parameswaran teamed up for a new film titled Mareechika. The title poster of this movie was unveiled recently. Mareechika is being directed by Satish Kasetti, who earlier made films like Hope, Kalavaramaye Madhilo and Terror in the past.

The title poster looks engrossing featuring the legs and shadow of a woman. The film also comes up with the tag line, 'Love - Betrayal - Revenge'. Viraj Ashwin, who was seen in the award-winning short film Manasanamaha, is playing a pivotal role in this movie.

Mareechika is being produced jointly by One More Hero Media and Lakshmi Bhupala Entertainment. The film is currently in the shooting stage. Arvind Kannabiran is handling the cinematography of this project. Maestro Ilaiyaraja is composing the music for it. More details about the film will be announced in the coming days.

Regina was recently seen in the web series Anya's Tutorial. She also has Shaakini Daakini in her lineup. Directed by Sudheer Varma, this film features Nivetha Thomas in the other lead role. On the flip side, Anupama was recently seen in a guest role in Ante Sundaraniki. She is currently awaiting the release of her next film Karthikeya 2.
