HYDERABAD: RRR director SS Rajamouli is currently taking a break from work. However, he has been keeping himself engaged by looking after the script work of his upcoming film. Amid his break, Rajamouli embarked on a road trip to Central Tamil Nadu.

His daughter's desire to visit regional temples inspired the road trip. Rajamouli and his family visited several prominent destinations, including Srirangam, Darasuram, Brihadeeswarar Koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi, and Madurai.

The director shared a collage video comprising clips and photos from the trip, giving his admirers a glimpse into their adventure.

Expressing his gratitude to his daughter for suggesting the road trip, Rajamouli mentioned that their visit was brief and they could only touch the tip of the iceberg in terms of exploring the region. Throughout their journey, Rajamouli and his family marveled at the exquisite architecture, remarkable engineering, and profound spiritual heritage left behind by the Pandyas, Chola Nayakkars, and other rulers of the past.

Not only did Rajamouli indulge in the cultural and historical aspects of the places they visited, but he also took the opportunity to savor the local cuisine. He set aside his usual diet regimen and enjoyed delectable dishes in Mantrakoodam, Kumbakonam, and roadside hotels in Rameswaram.

On the work front, Rajamouli's next film is with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
