HYDERABAD: Every day, RRR is making Indians proud with its spectacular achievements. Just a couple of nights ago, it won several awards at the Hollywood Critics Association awards ceremony. Meanwhile, it is now breaking several records at the Japanese box office.
RRR already became the highest-grosser in Japan among Indian movies. Recently, it emerged as the first Indian film to cross One billion Japanese Yen. Even four months after its release, the film is having a sensational theatrical run in Japan.
According to the latest reports, RRR has collected another 100 million Japanese Yen and took the total earnings to 1.1 billion Japanese yen. This is an incredible run and cannot be beaten by any other Indian film in the near future. Until now, RRR collected more than Rs. 1200 crores across the world.
It is having a re-release in more than 200 screens across the USA on March 3. Ahead of the Oscar season, we can expect RRR to have a good run in the USA theatres. This action epic, directed by SS Rajamouli, features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles.
