HYDERABAD: This year, we have witnessed four big releases during Sankranthi. The number should be five but Ravi Teja's Eagle got postponed to accommodate theatres for other films. Meanwhile, the competition is getting bigger for Sankranthi 2025 as four high-budget films booked their slots already.
Recently, it was announced that Megastar Chiranjeevi's Vishwambara will hit the screens on January 10, 2025. After Naa Saami Ranga's success, King Nagarjuna stated that he will come up with Bangarraju's sequel during next year's Sankranthi.
Last month, producer Dil Raju announced that Shatamanam Bhavati's sequel will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2025. Now, we hear that he changed plans and is aiming to release Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi's movie at that time.
Now, it looks like Prabhas's biggie Raja Saab will also arrive during the same festive period. Recently, the film's producer TG Vishwa Prasad said that if everything falls in place, Raja Saab may arrive during Sankranthi 2025. He added that Prabhas doesn't need any release slot because whenever he arrives, a slot will be created automatically.
