HYDERABAD: Silambarasan aka Simbu is not only a popular actor but also a talented singer. Apart from singing in his own movies, Simbu also crooned for many other heroes as well. Even in Telugu, Simbu sang various songs like Mabbe Masakesindi le (Nenu Meeku Telusa?), Bujji Pilla (Potugadu), Diamond Girl (Baadshah) and Bullet Song (The Warrior).
Now, he lent his vocals for a romantic number in the upcoming Telugu film 18 Pages. Starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles, this movie is directed by Surya Prathap Palnati. Gopi Sundar composed the music for it.
Simbu sang a song called 'Time Ivvu Pilla' in this movie. Announcing the news officially, the film's production house Geetha Arts tweeted, "Team #18Pages is delighted to have @SilambarasanTR_ on board for the next single #TimeIvvuPilla." The lyrical video will be out on December 5. If this song strikes a chord with the audience, it will help in the promotion of the movie. We also hear that Simbu sang a song in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' too. However, there is no official confirmation about the news yet.
Meanwhile, 18 Pages is aiming for a worldwide release on December 23. This is Nikhil's immediate film after the blockbuster Karthikeya 2. Thus, there are high expectations around it.
