HYDERABAD: Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, celebrated for creating cinematic masterpieces, has unveiled his inaugural production venture, "Made In India." This announcement comes with a teaser that offers a brief glimpse into the film's premise and captures the essence of Indian cinema's evolution over the ages.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the movie aims to pay homage to the birth and ascent of Indian Cinema. In a heartfelt note shared on X, SS Rajamouli expressed the profound impact the story of "Made In India" had on him. He acknowledged the inherent challenges of crafting a biopic, and in this case, the complexity of narrating the story of the "FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA."

Despite these challenges, Rajamouli expressed his confidence in the talented individuals who will bring this project to life.

The history of Indian cinema traces its roots back to 1913 when filmmaker Dadasaheb Phalke created India's first-ever full-length feature film, "Raja Harishchandra." Dadasaheb Phalke holds a hallowed place in Indian cinema history as one of the foremost screenwriters and directors of his time.

"Made In India" promises to delve into this rich and captivating history, celebrating the visionary creators and pioneers who shaped Indian cinema.

While SS Rajamouli won't be directing this project himself, his involvement as a producer is sure to increase curiosity. Rajamouli's son Karthikeya is producing the movie.
