TFCC Elections Underway: Dil Raju is confident to taste a victory over C Kalyan

HYDERABAD: Dil Raju and his panel members emphasized that they aim to strengthen the Film Chamber and work towards the development and welfare of the industry. They believe that the Film Chamber is crucial for all four sectors in the industry, and their primary focus is to address the problems each section faces.

Dil Raju expressed the importance of having the right people in the Film Chamber to ensure justice and progress in the industry. He acknowledged that the film industry has undergone significant changes due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and he is determined to enhance the recognition of Telugu cinema further globally.

However, Dil Raju clarified that even if he gets elected as the president of the Film Chamber, he will only hold onto the position for a short time. His priority is to bring about positive changes during his term and then hand over the responsibilities to the next generation.

On election day, actor Posani Krishnamurali, producer Supriya, and director Gunasekhar, among others, exercised their right to vote. The elections have garnered interest and participation from nearly 3000 members across various industry sectors, including producers, distributors, studios, and executives.

The polling is set to continue until 3 pm, with approximately 900 votes expected to be cast. Counting votes will begin at 4 pm, and the results will be announced at 6 pm.

This year's TFCC elections have become more intriguing due to the contest between the Dil Raju Panel and the C Kalyan Panel, making it a significant event for Tollywood.
