The anticipation surrounding Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's film "Leo" is growing, with fans eagerly awaiting its box-office success. Meanwhile, the renowned director has an even more ambitious project on the horizon, featuring none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. Referred to tentatively as "Thalaivar 171," this project has generated considerable buzz.

However, there are many speculations about "Thalaivar 171," being included in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). During the promotional activities for "Leo," Lokesh Kanagaraj clarified that "Thalaivar 171" would not be part of the LCU. Instead, it is set to stand alone as a unique and experimental cinematic experience.

Lokesh Kanagaraj expressed his excitement about this highly anticipated project, underscoring its potential to push boundaries. Sun Pictures will produce the film. Talented music composer Anirudh Ravichander is on board for the film. Anbariv will be responsible for choreographing the gripping action sequences.

The film unit is yet to confirm the cast and crew details of the project.
