HYDERABAD: SS Thaman has played a pivotal role in elevating the cinematic experience of many movies, including "Akhanda." Even though the film starred Balakrishna and was directed by Boyapati, Thaman's music received substantial acclaim.

In a recent interview, Thaman addressed a question about his role in the success of "Akhanda," and his response indirectly hinted at an ongoing disagreement with Boyapati.

The question was asked when Boyapati claimed that the background score added no value to the film. During the promotion of the film "Skanda," Boyapati commented on Thaman's work in "Akhanda."

"Even if you watch that movie without the rerecording, you will feel proud. It has so much guts," said the director.

Shortly after Boyapati's comments, Thaman tweeted, "I don't care." Many interpreted this tweet as a response to Boyapati's remarks.

In a recent interview during the success event of "Bhagavanth Kesari," Thaman indirectly criticized Boyapati in front of Balakrishna. Thaman emphasized the importance of emotional content in a scene and how it influences his background score work. He suggested that his efforts may be ineffective if the scene lacks emotional depth.

Given these developments, the disagreement between Thaman and Boyapati appears to be ongoing and has not met with any end.
