HYDERABAD: Star actress Samantha is gearing up for the release of her pan-India film Shaakuntalam. Directed by Gunasekhar, this mythological epic is slated for a worldwide release on April 14. The team recently visited Peddammathalli Temple in Hyderabad, after completing the film's works.
According to the sources, Samantha will be promoting the film aggressively from now on. She is expected to attend various events and press meets in the coming days. But Shaakuntalam is going to face tough challenges at the box office.
Nani's much-awaited Dasara is hitting the screens on March 30. There are a lot of expectations riding along this movie. If its strikes gold, it may have a long theatrical run. On the other side, Ravi Teja is coming up with Ravanasura on April 7. This is his immediate film after back-to-back hits Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya. Thus, there are high stakes involved in it.
On April 21, Sai Dharam Tej is coming up with Virupaksha. This movie generated a good buzz with its interesting teaser. So, it will open well at the box office.
