Vijay Anthony thinks Superstar Mahesh Babu is a perfect fit for 'Bichagadu'

HYDERABAD: The highly anticipated sequel to Vijay Antony's blockbuster film Bichagadu is scheduled to release on May 19th. As part of the movie's promotional activities, actor and director Vijay Antony conducted Q&A sessions with social media influencers and members.

During one such session, a comment he made about Superstar Mahesh caught everyone's attention. When asked about who would have been a better fit for the lead role in Bichagadu other than himself, Vijay Antony promptly responded that Mahesh Babu would have undoubtedly excelled in the role.

Vijay mentioned that Mahesh's persona would have suited the Telugu audience, while Vijay and Ajith are better suited for Tamil viewers. This statement has left Mahesh's fans wondering if the influential superstar would ever consider taking up such a role.

In addition, the director of Bichagadu 2 clarified that the movie has no continuity with its predecessor despite the hero still being referred to as Bichagadu. He emphasized that Bichagadu 1 is a story about a mother-son relationship and should not be considered a sequel.
