HYDERABAD: Rumors have been swirling that actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to get engaged in February, creating excitement among fans. However, Vijay addressed these speculations in his trademark laidback style during an interview with Lifestyle Asia.
Dismissing the engagement rumors, Vijay stated, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumor every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
Vijay Deverakonda kept the response light-hearted and did not delve further into the topic; instead, he focused on his work.
Vijay and Rashmika have shared the screen in two films, "Geetha Govindam" (2018) and "Dear Comrade" (2019). While the former was a massive box office success, the latter received positive reviews and found its audience.
