Vijay Deverakonda's 'The Family Star' finds its way To OTT

HYDERABAD: Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram Petla reunite for the second time after the blockbuster success of Geetha Govindam with their latest venture, The Family Star. Released in theaters on April 5, 2024, the film stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead female role.

In recent news, the renowned OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has revealed that The Family Star will commence streaming on April 26, 2024 (Friday), offering audiences the opportunity to enjoy it in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Despite a lukewarm reception during its theatrical release, the family drama's fate now rests on how it resonates with OTT viewers. The team promoted the film extremely well when it was in theatres. The movie opened to mixed reviews from one and all.

Produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. Gopi Sundar is at the helm of the music department.
