Vikram Kumar opens up on 24 sequel

Vikram K Kumar is one of the most talented and versatile directors in the industry. Irrespective of his success rate, he proved to be a director with a unique taste. One of his memorable films was 24, starring Suriya and Samantha.

Though it was a flop, 24 is still considered one of the best works in both Suriya and Vikram K Kumar's careers. Suriya's performance as antagonist Athreya is still memorable for his fans.

During its release, there was a buzz about 24's sequel. But as the movie became a flop, the buzz fizzled out soon. Meanwhile, after all these years, Vikram has opened up on this sequel.

Vikram is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Thank You. During one of the media interactions, he said that he still has plans of making a sequel to 24.

But he added that there should be a lot of work done with respect to its script. If everything falls in place, Vikram wants to make this sequel with Suriya in the future.

After Thank You, Vikram will come up with the web series Dhootha, which features Naga Chaitanya as the lead hero. Vikram also added that he has a film with Mythri Movie Makers and a Bollywood project in the pipeline.
