Virata Parvam director's next with Dhanush

Director Venu Udugula made his debut with Needi Naadi Oke Katha. This movie got a decent talk. Recently, he came up with Virata Parvam, which ended up as a dud at the box office. However, it received a good response when premiered on Netflix.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Venu will be teaming up with Dhanush for his next movie. If the news is true, it will be Dhanush's third Telugu film, after Venky Kudumula's Sir and Shekhar Kammula's untitled project.

Apparently, Venu narrated the script and Dhanush liked it as well. In a recent interview, Venu said that his next project will be a political thriller filled with commercial elements. However, he didn't reveal the cast of the film.

Actually, Venu was supposed to do his second film with Dhanush. It was heard that Kalaipuli S Thanu will produce the project. For some reason, it didn't happen. Later, it was reported that Venu will team up with Karthi. It didn't happen as well.

After the failure of Virata Parvam, Telugu stars aren't showing interest to work with Venu. As Dhanush gave his nod, will he be able to save the director from another failure? Let's wait and see.
