After his maiden film Needi Naadi Oke Katha, director Venu Udugula took a long gap to come up with his second venture. Finally, his second directorial Virata Parvam is hitting the screens this Friday. Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi played the lead roles in this movie.

Virata Parvam got done with its censor formalities recently. The film has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. The runtime has been locked at 151 minutes (2 hours 31 minutes). The makers are pretty confident about the movie's success.

Set in the 1990s Telangana, Virata Parvam is a love story that takes place against the backdrop of Naxalism. Rana plays the role of Naxalite Ravanna while Sai Pallavi essayed the character of his admirer Vennela. The theatrical trailer generated a good response from the viewers and raised the anticipation around the film. The pre-release event of Virata Parvam will be held in Hyderabad on June 15. It will be held at Shilpakala Vedhika. Ram Charan, Venkatesh and Sukumar will grace the event as chief guests.

Virata Parvam features Zarina Wahab, Nandita Das, Priyamani and Naveen Chandra in the other pivotal roles. Suresh Bobbili composed the music for this film.
