HYDERABAD: Actor Taraka Ratna's sudden death came as a shocker to the entire film industry. It especially left the Nandamuri family in deep grief. They are yet to digest the fact that Taraka Ratna is no more. Due to his sudden demise, the works of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR's films got postponed.
After RRR, Jr NTR signed a movie (NTR 30) under the direction of Koratala Siva. It was supposed to get launched on February 24. But due to Taraka Ratna's death, the makers decided to postpone the launch event. This film is in the pre-production stage for more than six months.
On the other side, the shoot of Balakrishna's next film (NBK 108) with Anil Ravipudi was supposed to begin this week. It stands postponed now. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead in this film. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are bankrolling the project. Thaman is composing the music for it.
Meanwhile, the mortal remains of Taraka Ratna were kept in the Film Chamber this morning. The final rites will be held at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills this evening.
