54-year- old woman found dead in Kukatpally; gang-rape suspected

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a waste paper collector was found dead in Kukatpally area of Hyderabad. According to reports, 45-year-old Sujata, a waste paper collector, was allegedly raped by two youngsters.

The incident reportedly took place in the basement of AR Pipe Workshop at Kukatpally Y Junction at around 4.30 a.m. on Sunday. The woman bled profusely and succumbed to her injuries.

Police have taken the body to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem and are searching for the accused with the help of CCTV cameras. The forensic team and dog squad reached the spot. A case has been registered. Further investigations are still underway.
