HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) discovered 120 acres of land allegedly belonging to former HMDA Director and RERA Secretary Shiva Balakrishna on Monday. The lands were apparently identified in the Ranga Reddy, Bhuvanagiri, Siddipet, Jangaon, and Choutuppal areas, as well as an outer ring road.

According to reports, ACB uncovered the information after questioning Shiva Balakrishna's family and friends. The majority of his assets were purportedly held in the names of family members, friends, and benamis.

Shiva Balakrishna was apprehended on January 25, 2024, following a 24-hour search of his residence and 17 associated addresses.

The ACB uncovered assets worth approximately Rs 300 crore. They also seized Rs 84 lakh in cash, 2 kg gold, 5.5 kg silver, and identified immovable assets like three villas, three flats, and 90 acres of agricultural land.
