Actress Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar flags off HDRF pet vaccination drive in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, a popular film actor and animal lover, inaugurated the Hermione Duncan Reddy Foundation(HDRF) pet immunisation initiative in Hyderabad on Friday. Many pet parents and their pets attended the free vaccination drive.

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar expressed her delight at being a part of the event, saying, "It's amazing to see HDRF's pet-friendly initiative.We must treat all living beings with compassion and empathy. This vaccination programme will assist keep animals healthy and disease-free, as well as lessen health risks if they stray."

"We plan to vaccinate 5000 dogs in the next three days," said Dr. Sree Reddy, founder of HDRF. "This campaign will continue with the assistance of municipal officials and well-wishers. We have set up two mobile vans that will travel across the city vaccinating animals in response to requests.
