HYDERABAD: Amor Hospitals in Hyderabad, known for its expertise in complex medical cases, successfully treated a 15-year-old boy with a rare chest malformation on his right side since birth.

The patient presented with severe breathlessness due to Pectus Excavatum, compressing his right-sided chest wall and limiting lung function. Despite initial rejections from other facilities, he sought assistance from Amor Hospitals.

Under Dr. Kishore B. Reddy, Chief Ortho Oncologist and Managing Director, the patient underwent a 9-hour surgery to correct the chest deformity. The procedure involved inserting metal bars and rib plates, along with adjustments to the sternum and surrounding musculature.
