Ayan Medical College bus hits GHMC sweeper killing her instantly, 4 students injured

HYDERABAD: A bus belonging to Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences in Moinabad has hit a GHMC sanitation worker T Sunita at Ramkote area i.e. Hyderabad on Monday morning, killing her on the spot. Four students of the medical college were also injured in the incident.

According to police, the bus belonging to the private medical college was taking the students to the college lost control and hit the GHMC worker killing her on the spot. The driver lost control of the bus and rammed into a tree.

GHMC sweeper T Sunita, who was working in the area under Amberpet Circle, was killed instantly.

The accident caused a traffic jam in the area.

The Narayanguda police arrived at the scene and are currently investigating. A case of negligence causing death was registered against bus driver Mohammed Ghouse.

The GHMC Zonal Commissioner of Secunderabad zone said it was the most tragic incident and the body of the sweeper was shifted to Osmania General Hospital.
