HYDERABAD: Hundreds of Hyderabadis gathered at the Hitex Exhibition Center to participate in the Baisakhi Mela organised by the Telangana Punjabi Sabha (TPS) on Sunday. The event captivated attendees with vibrant music, dance, sumptuous food, and plenty of fun.

The weekend timing provided the perfect opportunity for people to spend quality time, adding to the event's allure. Kicking off with energetic Bhangra performances at the venue's entrance, the rhythmic beats and traditional Punjabi dance steps entertained incoming guests. Members of the Telangana Punjabi Sabha and their families were also spotted dancing and enjoying themselves throughout the event.

The highlight of the evening was the star-studded concert. Renowned singer Kushboo mesmerised the audience with her soulful renditions, paving the way for the acclaimed duo, Meet Bros, to take the center stage. Their performance, starting with the hit song Boss, once again captivated the audience's hearts. From five-year-olds to 60-year-olds, attendees danced to the tunes of Meet Bros at the specially designed dance arena, said TPS President S. Ravinder Singh Sarna.

A wide array of food and beverage options awaited attendees, ranging from authentic Hyderabadi Biryani to delectable fancies, momos, fries, ice creams, and more. The food stalls proved to be a saving grace, satisfying appetites throughout the evening. There was also a colorful 'Gidda' Dance and Dhol.

Attendees were treated to dance performances and Zumba sessions, where they enthusiastically grooved to the music. Following this, the renowned band Capriccio took the stage by storm, serenading the audience with a mix of Tollywood and Bollywood hits. Their renditions of songs by AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja sent the audience into a frenzy. During the event, the Telangana Punjabi Sabha also unveiled their annual magazine, Rooh Punjab Dee, showcasing their upcoming events and initiatives. Overall, the Baisakhi Celebrations proved to be a graceful affair, delighting all those in attendance with its diverse entertainment offerings.

TPS President S. Ravinder Singh Sarna said that a large number of Punjabi families turned up for the Baisakhi Mela celebrations and thanked each and everyone for making the program a grand success
