HYDERABAD: The body of a married woman, Shwetha Madhagani, a native of AS Rao Nagar in Hyderabad, was discovered dumped in a bin on an isolated road at Buckley, west of Geelong in Victoria, Australia.

Unconfirmed reports say that the police found a link to the murder 86 km away in Point Cook where the deceased lived along with her husband Ashok Raj and their three-year-old son.

The police confirmed that the husband and son left for India around the same time when they got the tip-off. The police and family members in India and Australia have been looking out for Ashok Raj.

Locals at the rural Buckley said they never saw “a wheelie bin dumped on the dirt road” and informed the police, according to Australian media.

The police suspect that the lady was killed at her residence and the body was dumped in the bin.

Neighbours of Shwetha at Point Cook remember her as a very kind and loving woman who loved to share food with others in the community. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the gruesome killing of Shwetha.
