HYDERABAD: A bouncer was critically injured after a drunk driver rammed his car into four other vehicles in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad on Saturday night. The incident happened late in the night near the KBR Park.
The unidentified driver of the car was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Out of his senses and no control over the vehicle, he reportedly rammed his car into three other cars and a motorcycle.
Azmath (32), a bouncer who was returning home after his night shift work, was critically injured in the incident. It is yet to be established as to how many people were travelling in the car that went berserk.
The havoc wreaked by the car triggered panic among the commuters on the busy stretch.
A video, taken by one of the passersby on his mobile phone, showed empty liquor bottles and stuffed cigarettes strewn around inside the car that caused the accident.
It was not immediately known if a case has been registered and how many were charged with the offence.
