Brother-sister duo attacked in LB Nagar, boy's condition critical

HYDERABAD: An unidentified assailant brutally attacked a sister and brother in RTC Colony of LB Nagar in Hyderabad on Sunday leaving them severely injured.

The victims, identified as Sanghavi and Chintu, hailing from Shadnagar were living at RTC colony in LB Nagar. While Sanghavi is studying Degree in Homeopathy fourth year, Chintu completed engineering and searching for a job.

However, on Sunday, the sister-brother duo was attacked by an assailant and they suffered severe injuries.

Upon learning of the incident, the police plunged into action and shifted the injured Sanghavi and Chintu to Kamineni hospital wherein the condition of Chintu remained critical.

The police also detained the accused and registered a case to carry out further investigation.
