HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy said on Friday that Rajiv Gandhi Online Quiz Competition was being organised in continuation of the Hyderabad Youth Declaration.
He participated in the launching and brochure release of the Rajiv Gandhi Youth Online Quiz Competition at Gandhi Ideology Centre in Bowenpally of Secunderabad. Speaking on this occasion, he said that he was happy to have Oscar award winner Rahul Sipliganj as the Chief Guest for this event. Revanth Reddy said that it was sad that the government did not recognize Rahul, who brought laurels to Telangana with the Oscar award.
The TPCC chief said that Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi would give away the prizes for the winners of the Rajiv Gandhi Online Quiz Competition. Rahul Sipliganj would be honoured, on that occasion, on behalf of the Congress party. A cash reward of Rs 10 lakhs would be presented to the Tollywood singer, Revanth Reddy added.
Revanth Reddy also claimed that, as soon as the Congress party came to power, Rahul would be given a Rs 1 Crore cash prize. Announcing that there would be a Rajiv Gandhi Youth Online Quiz Competition on June 2, Revanth Reddy called upon the students and youth to participate in the event in large numbers.
