CID SP booked for stalking, harassing TSSPDCL employee in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Vexed by sexual harassment from Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) SP Kishan Singh, a TSSPDCL woman employee approached Chaitanyapuri Police in Hyderabad on Saturday.

In her complaint to the police, the woman employee alleged that Kishan Singh was harassing her for quite a long time since she was preparing for the national level competitions in Saroor Nagar stadium. On several occasions, the accused had also asked her to attend the special classes conducted by him, she said.

"Kishan Singh took my contact number and stalked me by sending obscene messages, photographs and videos on WhatsApp. The harassment reached its peak when the accused asked me to consult him to discuss a case," the woman employee said.

A case has been registered against Kishan Singh under Section 354A (sexual harassment) of the IPC. Further investigations are underway into the matter, the police said.
