HYDERABAD: Cockroaches build up on corpses. This is what is exactly happening in the case of the suicide by 23-year-old girl Marri Pravallika who died by suicide on Friday evening in an Ashok Nagar hostel.

TPCC president A Revanth Reddy, who had earlier demanded for the postponement of the TSPSC Group 2 examination in August citing lack of time for the candidates for preparation, is now shedding crocodile tears over the postponement of the examinations again in the wake of the election schedule exposing the former's dual stance.

His tweet on August 10, 2023 and last night’s press statement over the suicide and today’s tweet impaled his political foibles in full public glare.

Responding to the suicide of a Group 2 aspirant Pravalika in Ashok Nagar, the TPCC president attributed the suicides of youth to the TSPSC examination. He termed the suicides over jobs to the “government murders”.

He said that Pravalika, from Warangal, who was upset over the postponement of the Group 2 exam again, died by suicide.

The Malkajgiri MP further levelled allegations against the BRS Government in general and Chief Minister KCR in particular saying that the latter had no concern for the deaths and suicides of the youth and was least bothered about the people.

Revanth Reddy said that the government had no care for the lives of youth and demanded that the government respond to the student's suicide.

The first tweet translates into: “KCR, who didn’t care for the cries of unemployed youth for nine years like ‘Nero’, is “testing” them without giving time for preparation with an eye on elections and votes. I am demanding that the government take a decision favourable to the students seeking postponement of the Group 2 examination.”

He suddenly let his people loose on the scene of the suicide on Friday and night issued a statement attributing the suicide of the girl to postponement of the examination.

The tweet by Revanth Reddy today (October 14, 2023) says: “KCR is refusing to hear the demand for justice to Pravallika who died by suicide. Under the rule of this ‘gentleman’, except for murders, suicides and rapes, there is no future for the youth. The suicide note of Pravallika is explaining this. The government should respond on the suicide. If any attempt is made to divert the case, consequences will be severe.”

Revanth Reddy also called upon the people to oust the current government, which could not conduct Group 2 examination citing the ensuing elections, and bring the Congress party into power.

He also called for a state-wide protest over Pravalika's suicide
