HYDERABAD: Amid the ongoing Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Hyderabad, there seems to be a flex war between the Telangana Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party.

The BRS party is mocking the Congress party over its alleged corrupt practices in administration.

On Saturday, flexes carrying images of Congress national leaders and highlighting their association with various corruption charges were displayed.

Following this, wall posters emerged in Hyderabad on Sunday with the slogan "Corrupt Congress model and Correct BRS model," showcasing the contrasting schemes and promises made by the Congress party in Telangana and its performance in other states where it is in power.

The posters specifically mention the differences in financial assistance to Dalits, disabled pensions, old-age pension, insurance schemes for farmers, investment assistance to farmers, and free electricity for farmers. They reveal that Congress-ruled states like Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan lacked schemes for Dalits, whereas Telangana provides Rs. 10 lakh to Dalits.

The posters also highlighted the meager amounts provided for old-age pensions in Congress-ruled states compared to Telangana's Rs. 4116.

They pointed out the absence of farmers' insurance schemes, investment assistance, and free electricity in Congress-ruled states and highlighted the Telangana state providing Rs. 5 lakhs under the insurance scheme, Rs. 10,000 investment assistance, and 24/7 free electricity for farmers.

Also, posters highlighting TPCC president A Revanth Reddy criticising Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in a most disparaging manner. He had called Sonia “Bali Devatha” — the one who sacrificed Telangana youths to propitiate herself — and Rahul Gandhi “mudda pappu” — meaning idiomatically that he was useless.

Revanth’s comments on the duo are haunting him so much that even the video clips of his remarks went viral on social media platforms.
